NordikPredator 3 Pack Predator Calling Kit combines three proven calls into one practical set: Nordik Mini Predator, Nordik Crying Bird and Nordik Fox Heat. One kit, three approaches: distress/food sounds, bird distress, and fox mating/territory calling.
This is a “field-ready” set for real stands: switch tactics based on season, wind and how predators react. Mini Predator covers rodents + distress, Crying Bird shines in late spring/summer, and Fox Heat is your ace during the mating period or territorial behavior.
Key advantages
- 3-in-1 strategy for different seasons and reactions.
- Faster learning curve thanks to clearly different sound “languages”.
- Stand-friendly: easy to rotate sequences without overcalling one sound.
- More flexibility: if one sound fails, switch to another proven option.
- Great starter kit for fox/jackal, and a solid upgrade for experienced callers.

How to run it on a stand (simple plan)
- Start (first 5–10 min): soft rodent squeaks with Mini Predator for low-pressure calling.
- Main series: rabbit/hare distress with Mini Predator for 15–25 s, pause 3–4 min, repeat.
- If using a decoy: place it 30–40 m slightly to the side to pull attention away from you.
- Change the language: no response → switch to Crying Bird, especially late spring/summer.
- Special moment: mating/territory → add Fox Heat every 5–10 min for a 30–40 min stand.
Tip: push air from your diaphragm, not your cheeks. It keeps the sound stable and controlled.
1) Nordik Mini Predator – rodents + distress
Rodents: place the O-ring/teeth/lips at the outer edge of the membrane and blow short thrusts.
Rabbit/hare distress: place lips/teeth mid mouthpiece; further back on the membrane = a coarser tone. Call 15–25 s and repeat every 3–4 min.

2) Nordik Crying Bird – bird distress (great in spring/summer)
Woodpecker distress: short, intense air thrusts + “trrr, trrr, trrr”.
Small bird distress: blow gently and let air go back and forth through the call (in/out) with varied combinations.
Alternative distress: a short steady flow can produce a very realistic rabbit distress sound.

When it shines: late spring and summer, when predators often search for easy prey near nests and young birds.
3) Nordik Fox Heat – mating/territory calling
Built for foxes searching for a partner during mating season, and also effective for territorial foxes. Some will answer, others come in silently—stay still and watch the wind.
- Pattern #1: cover the hole on the sound chamber with your index finger and softly blow “trrr” three times, pause 10 s, repeat. Run every 5–10 min for 30–40 min.
- Pattern #2: four short soft thrusts, then one long (about 3 s) while removing your finger at the start so the sound fades out.
